After a successful season in 2018 for RCB, Umesh Yadav was retained by the franchise for this year’s IPL. The bowler had a disappointing season for the Virat Kohli led side. The experienced Indian bowler took a total of 8 wickets from 11 matches with an economy of 9.80 runs per over.

He conceded many runs in the death overs and could not provide early breakthroughs for RCB. His best figures in IPL was 3/36. Despite not getting selected for the Indian ODI team, Yadav was erratic with his bowling and gave away too many runs.
