The schedule for the Indian tour of Caribbean is out. It is a known fact that India will be touring West Indies for an all-format tour in the month of August.
The series starts with a three-match T20I”s which will be played across the USA also. The first two matches will be played at Lauderhill, Florida while the third one will be played at Guyana.
The three-match ODI series follows after the T20I”s. Reports already emerged that few seniors including Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah are set to be rested for the limited-overs leg. Players such as Shreyas Iyer, Rahul Chahar and Krunal Pandya are expected to be given some chances to prove their mettle in the international arena.
Two tests will be played which will be the part of ICC test championship. This will be the first series for the Indian side as a part of the championship. Being the number one ranked side, India will try to use its test specialists to the fullest to make an early impact in the trophy hunt.
West Indies shocked the English earlier this year where they won the test series 2-1. It will be interesting who comes out on the top as the series marks the first of its kind.
