In a friendly interaction with Mr. Nags, Royal Challengers Bangalore cricketer Virat Kohli joked about his first-ball ducks in this Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. The right-handed batter expressed that he had seen everything in this game.

Virat Kohli has six golden ducks in the history of the tournament. Three out of those six have come this year, two against Sunrisers Hyderabad and one against the Lucknow Super Giants. His latest golden duck came against the Sunrisers at the Wankhede Stadium. Virat Kohli flicked the first ball of the innings straight to short mid-wicket off Jagadeesha Suchith’s bowling.

In a video uploaded by the Royal Challengers Bangalore on their Youtube Channel, the Indian cricketer joked about his first-ball ducks this season. He said,

“First-ball ducks. After the second one (duck), I actually realized what It feels like to be like you (Mr. Nags’ character), absolutely helpless. It hasn’t happened to me ever in my career, I think. I have seen everything now. It’s been so long, I have seen everything in this game.”

I mute the TV and don’t pay attention to what people are saying – Virat Kohli on cutting down the outside noise

The former Indian captain, Virat Kohli has been struggling for form this Indian Premier League season. In twelve matches, he averages 19.64, scoring 216 runs at a strike rate of 111.34. The right-hander has only one fifty to his name this season. However, even during that knock, his strike rate was a cause of concern.

Virat Kohli has received criticism from the fans and the experts for his poor form this season. When asked what he does to cut off the outside noise, Virat said that he mutes the TV and does not pay attention to what people say.

“They can’t be in my shoes. Can’t feel what I feel. They can’t live my life. They can’t live those moments. How do you cut out the noise? You either mute the TV or don’t pay attention to what people are saying. I do both those things,” said Virat Kohli.
