Virat Kohli is currently one of the leading athletes on the planet. The Indian skipper has broken several records in his 12-year long international career. We all know Kohli’s accomplishment on the field but little do people know about his affairs off it. Kohli married actress Anushka Sharma in 2018 and they today are the most talked-about couple of India.

But before Anushka came into Kohli’s life, he did had one or two relationships during his younger days. Kohli dated Izabelle Leite; a Brazillian actress and model for around a year. Recently, former England batsman Nick Compton revealed an interesting story regarding the time Kohli was in a relationship with Izabelle.

When Kohli got angry on Nick Compton for talking to his ex-girlfriend

Compton stated that he, before facing India in a series met Kohli ex-girlfriend because of which he was unhappy about. Virat Kohli constantly sledged the England batsman during the entire series after the incident. Nick Compton although was in a fun mood and acknowledged Virat Kohli as a world-class performer now.

He said, “I got a few words from Virat Kohli during the series. I think I bumped into his ex-girlfriend at the time before the series when out for an evening with Kevin Pietersen and myself, Yuvraj Singh all of us were there, and she was there.”

“I just chatted to her and the word got back that I was speaking to her, and I don’t think Virat Kohli was very happy with that. He had a few words to say to me every time I walked out to bat.

But I think he was trying to say that she was his girlfriend, and she was saying that it was her ex-boyfriend. It was like, ‘Who’s got the story right here,’ you know what I mean?”, Compton said in an episode of Edges and Sledges Cricket Podcast.

Meanwhile, a lot has changed since then. The talismanic run-scorer is currently gearing up to make a return to the cricket field in IPL scheduled to take place in UAE. He last appeared during the series against New Zealand earlier this year.
