Mayank Yadav has been the talk of the town in this year’s IPL. He showed his class with match-winning figures against Punjab Kings. During his efforts, Mayank took the wickets of Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh, and Jitesh Sharma. He ended with figures of 3 for 27 in his 4 overs to help LSG win the match by 21 runs.
He followed with another brilliant spell of bowling against RCB in Bengaluru. Mayank dismissed Maxwell, Cameron Green, and Rajat Patidar. His bowling figures of 3 for 14 in 4 overs helped LSG win the match by 28 runs.
Mayank Yadav bowled only 1 over in the next match against Lucknow and went off the field due to an injury. He was impressive with his speed creating doubt on batters’ minds. Former West Indies pace bowler Ian Bishop talked about Mayank Yadav must be given a personal trainer for the next two years and condition training and medical assurance.

Mayank Yadav struggled with his fitness against Gujarat Titans as his speeds dropped down. He gave away 13 runs in 1 over before going off the field due to an injury.
Lucknow Super Giants’ performance
Lucknow Super Giants has been in superb form so far winning 3 out of 4 matches so far. They lost their first match against Rajasthan Royals before winning against Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans at home.
LSG CEO Vinod Bisht said, “Mayank felt soreness in lower abdominal area and as a precaution, we are managing his workload over the next week. We hope to see him soon on the field.”
LSG then defeated RCB in their den. They would be looking to continue his superb form as they face Delhi Capitals at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow on 12th April 2024. Yash Thakur showed his class by picking 5 for 30 and helping Lucknow Super Giants defeat GT by 33 runs.
