Mayank Yadav has been the talk of the town in this year’s IPL. He showed his class with match-winning figures against Punjab Kings. During his efforts, Mayank took the wickets of Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh, and Jitesh Sharma. He ended with figures of 3 for 27 in his 4 overs to help LSG win the match by 21 runs.

He followed with another brilliant spell of bowling against RCB in Bengaluru. Mayank dismissed Maxwell, Cameron Green, and Rajat Patidar. His bowling figures of 3 for 14 in 4 overs helped LSG win the match by 28 runs.

Mayank Yadav bowled only 1 over in the next match against Lucknow and went off the field due to an injury. He was impressive with his speed creating doubt on batters’ minds. Former West Indies pace bowler Ian Bishop talked about Mayank Yadav must be given a personal trainer for the next two years and condition training and medical assurance.

“Been discussing this idea privately with a colleague for the past week. Re the “special” talent of Mayank Yadav. It’s an opportune time in cricket to explore the test of assigning a personal S & C trainer, & medical expertise year-round to monitor him for the next 2 years.”
