The much-anticipated ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is all set to kick off on October 5 in Ahmedabad. On Friday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced a star-studded commentators panel for the ICC.tv’s coverage of the World Championship. The panel boasts of legendary former cricketers from across the globe.

The coverage will include a pre-match show, an innings interval programme and a post-match show. The commentary panel features World Cup-winning captains Ricky Ponting and Eoin Morgan. Legendary cricketers Sunil Gavaskar, Nasser Hussain, Waqar Younis, and Anjum Chopra are also part of the panel among others.

Thriller to be commentating: Ricky Ponting

Former cricketer Ricky Ponting expressed that the 2023 World Cup is going to be a great contest. He pointed out that most of the players are familiar with the Indian conditions.
