South African batter Rassie van der Dussen lauded the team’s batting effort against Sri Lanka in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. He expressed that it was a perfect day for the batting unit as they scored a record-breaking total. He also spoke about Aiden Markram who lit the stadium with his stunning performance. Speaking at the mid-innings break, Rassie van der Dussen said,
“As far as batting goes, a perfect day out for us. (The ball) was swinging up front. Pretty hot out there. Markram, when he plays like that, is incredible to watch.
