The Australian cricket team will be eyeing their second win of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in Match 18 of the tournament against Pakistan on Friday, October 20 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. They defeated Sri Lanka in the last match to get off the mark in the tournament, after two consecutive losses. They are seventh on the points table with two points from three matches.

Australia has a tough opponent in the upcoming match. Pakistan is fourth on the table currently with four points from three matches. They started off the tournament well defeating the Netherlands and Sri Lanka. However, a loss against India has pegged them back. They will be raring to make a comeback and get back to the winning ways in the upcoming match.

#Mohammad Rizwan vs Adam Zampa

Pakistan batter Mohammad Rizwan has been in good form in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023. He has scored 248 runs in three matches, including a century and a fifty. He will be keen to continue his form in the upcoming match. However, he will be up against Adam Zampa, who has troubled him in the past. Rizwan has been dismissed thrice by Zampa in six ODI matches and has an average of 19.3. He has scored 58 runs from 73 balls against the Australian spinner.


#Babar Azam vs Josh Hazlewood

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has struggled against Josh Hazlewood in ODI cricket. In four matches he has been dismissed twice, scoring 42 runs at a strike rate of 75 and an average of 21. It will be interesting to see how he approaches the Australian pacer in the upcoming match. So far, Babar Azam has scored only 65 runs in three matches, while Hazlewood has picked up four wickets.


#David Warner vs Hasan Ali

David Warner is playing his final ODI World Cup for Australia. He hasn’t been in the best of forms in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. He has only scored 65 runs in three matches so far. In the upcoming match, he will be facing Hasan Ali, against whom he has a good record. In three ODI matches, he has slammed 106 runs including 13 fours and 2 sixes and has a strike rate of 153.6 against the pacer. Meanwhile, Hasan Ali has dismissed him once.
