India cricket team wrapped up their camp in Thiruvananthapuram and headed to Chennai in preparation for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja marked the occasion by cutting a cake. The tournament starts on October 5 with a match between England and New Zealand, and India’s campaign commences on Sunday against Australia at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.
India’s preparation for the World Cup has been affected by rain, leading to the abandonment of their warm-up matches against England and the Netherlands in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram, respectively. Despite this setback, it’s not a significant cause for worry since the Indian team has been actively involved in ODI cricket in the past two months, providing them with adequate preparation for the World Cup.
A fan posted a video on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) capturing the Indian players saying their goodbyes to Thiruvananthapuram as they prepare to depart for Chennai.
