ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: [WATCH]- KL Rahul Shows A Bright Smile As His Decision To Review Via DRS Turns Out To Be Correct

During the 2023 World Cup match against Sri Lanka on Thursday, India’s wicketkeeper KL Rahul continued to impress with his clever and accurate wicket-keeping skills. The Indian team won the match by a huge 302-run margin, securing a spot in the semi-finals.

In the game, India went up to bat first and put up a huge score of 357/8 in 50 overs. Afterward, their group of fast bowlers disrupted the Sri Lankan batting order, getting them all out for a low score of 55 runs in 19.4 overs.

KL Rahul’s astute DRS review recommendation in the 12th over drew the interest of fans and spectators during the dynamic second innings. Mohammed Shami delivered a length ball down the leg side, and Dushmantha Chameera attempted a flick shot but didn’t connect as intended.

Umpire Chris Brown called it a wide, but KL Rahul promptly advised Rohit Sharma to request a review. The third umpire determined Chameera was out, as the replays indicated the ball had brushed his gloves.

After the on-field decision was reversed, Rahul was seen wearing a satisfied smile. You can watch KL Rahul’s response here:
