India to have home series against Australia before ODI World Cup 2023

Team India will be highly motivated as they head into the ODI World Cup 2023 following their impressive performance in the Asia Cup 2023. In the final, Rohit Sharma and his team showcased their dominance by defeating the defending champions Sri Lanka with a resounding ten-wicket victory, securing their eighth continental championship.

India is set to welcome Australia for a three-match ODI series ahead of the World Cup. The series begins with the first match scheduled at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on September 22.

After their triumph in the Asia Cup, the two-time World Cup champions are presently ranked second in ODIs with a rating of 114.659. If they secure victory in the upcoming series, Team India will enter the World Cup as the top-ranked ODI team.
