Former Pakistan skipper Salman Butt has kept predictions coming in ahead of the marquee clash between Pakistan and India on October 24 in Dubai. He believes it will be a good headache to have as they have several in-form players to choose from. The match kickstarts the campaign of both the teams in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 campaign.

Speaking after India’s win on his Youtube channel, Salman Butt has said that with the Indian players in form, it is a good selection ahead of the first game against Pakistan.

“Now a good headache will start for India. Ishan Kishan is in form, Suryakumar Yadav is in form, Rishabh Pant finished the last match and Hardik Pandya has also been sent to finish matches and he has stayed unbeaten. Today, Rohit Sharma played and hit 60 off 41 and KL Rahul again played a beautiful knock of 39. So The whole team is in form” said Butt.

India chased down 153 required to win with nine wickets in hand. Rohit Sharma walked off after scoring 60 in the warm-up game. KL Rahul scored a fine 39. The match was finished by Suryakumar Yadav (38) and Hardik Pandya (14).

Speaking about David Warner and Virat Kohli’s form heading into the World Cup, Butt observed that they ar big match players and will bounce back into form.

“Virat Kohli is a big match player, he has scored runs all over the world. He is not in the best of form right now, but today he rested himself. Sometimes rest helps you regain form. When you take a break and come back fresh, you respond better going into a big match. So we will see that in the tournament. When the main matches come, these are big players. They say when the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
