The Super 12 of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 commences today as South Africa lock horns with Australia at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. We’ll have Glenn Maxwell against Tabraiz Shamsi, David Warner against Kagiso Rabada and Quinton de Kock against Mitchell Starc just to name a few mouthwatering battles.
With the likes of AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn and Faf du Plessis no longer in the squad, South Africa enter the tournament without the regular media hype that follows them going into ICC events despite the likes of de Kock, Rabada and company.

South Africa will be high on confidence after Rassie van der Dussen scored a match-winning century to take his side over the rope in the last warm-up game. They will hope to draw confidence from that win against Australia.
On the other hand, Australia has won just four of their 15 T20Is this year, suffering series losses in New Zealand, West Indies and Bangladesh. Australia captain Finch confirmed his side would only be picking the four specialist bowlers for the match, with all-rounders Marcus Stoinis, Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh to share four overs. Among Ashton Agar and Adam Zampa, one is likely to make the cut.
