ICC T20 World Cup 2021: Harbhajan Singh-Mohammad Amir Join In An Ugly Spat On Twitter

Veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has responded to Mohammad Amir’s jibe at him which was directed towards one of his spells in Test cricket. Former Pakistan cricketers and the media are having a go at each other after the Men in Green beat India in the ICC T20 World Cup opening game. Amir’s recently trolled the veteran Indian spinners for his spell against Shahid Afridi where he hit the former for four consecutive sixes.

Taking to Twitter Mohammad Amir wrote ” me busy that  @harbhajan_singh apki bowling dekh raha tha test jab LaLA ne apko 4 bowls pe 4 sixes mare thay but cricket hai lag sakte but test cricket me thora ziada ho gia tha.

Amir has also shared the clip of the video where Afridi hit Bhajji for four consecutive sixes to make matters worse. Not the one to back out, Harbhajan Singh had an immediate response to Amir’s tweet reminding him of the No-ball that he deliberately bowled in the Lord’s Test match against England back in 2010.

“Lords mai no ball kaise ho gya tha ?? Kitna liya kisne diya ? Test cricket hai no ball kaise ho sakta hai ? Shame on u and ur other supporters for disgracing this beautiful game” wrote Harbhajan on Twitter.

“Feels great to win and we’ll look to carry forward the confidence. The spinners started off brilliantly, and Haris and Shaheen carried it through. I would like to compliment our fielding, that has carried us through here. I thought we gave 10 runs too many. But this is cricket and it happens. While batting, there were wickets early on and we needed a partnership. Malik showed experience and Asif Ali contributed too. Every match is crucial. There is no easy match. We’ll look to play it day by day and game by game” said Babar Azam after Pakistan’s win.
