Indian senior fast bowler, Mohammad Shami has had the worst days of his life after the defeat against arch-rivals Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and fans trolled him left right centre all over his social media handles for his poor performance. He was socially abused by Indian fans over his religion and was called a “traitor” after the 10 wicket defeat against Pakistan.
He took Twitter to share a picture of the training camp ahead of the New Zealand match. In the photo, Mohammad Shami can be seen with his fast bowling partner Jasprit Bumrah and India’s net bowlers, Avesh Khan and Umran Malik.
In the caption of his tweet the pace bowler wrote:
“Back to the grind. Had a productive training session and loved talking to our young talented cricketers. Looking forward to our next game against NZ,”

Mohammad Shami receives support from all section
Talking about the India Pakistan match, which gave birth to a lot of hate and controversies for the Indian Pacer Mohammad Shami. He conceded 43 runs in 3.5 overs being the most expensive bowler out of all the Indian bowlers at the Dubai International Stadium, on Sunday (24 October).
After the defeat against Pakistan, Shami was brutally trolled over social media for his poor performance against Pakistan he was being called a ‘traitor.’
While people trolled team India and their players especially Mohammad Shami, many cricket greats, people, and politicians had come in support of the Indian pacer Mohammed Shami including Irfan Pathan and VVS Laxman.
When we support #TeamIndia, we support every person who represents Team India. @MdShami11 is a committed, world-class bowler. He had an off day like any other sportsperson can have.

Mohammed Shami has been a stellar performer for India for eight years, playing a significant role in many a victory. He can't be defined by one performance. My best wishes are always with him. I urge fans & followers of the game to support @MdShami11 and the Indian team.

355 International wickets. It is India that beats in the heart of anyone representing India. And Mohammad Shami has been an outstanding and yet unsung servant of Indian cricket. More power to him.
