Dinesh Kartik recently played the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) which was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the Covid-19 concerns in India. KKR had reached the finals of the IPL but was unable to cross the finishing line and get hold of the IPL trophy. They eventually lost the match against the CSK by 27 runs who hold 4 IPL trophies (2010,2011,2018,2021) to date.
Dinesh Kartik has also made his commentary debut against the likes of Sunil Gavaskar and Hasha Bhogle who are known as one of the best commentators of all time. He was last spotted in the com box during the Hundred.
