David Warner returned back to form scoring 65 against Sri Lanka as Australia won their second game on the trot in the ICCT20 World Cup 2021. Australia chased down the target of 155 in 17 overs to improve on their net run-rate and stay second on the points table in group A also called the “Group Of Death” England, South Africa, West Indies and Bangladesh are also a part of this group.

Meanwhile, something was interesting that David Warner did while addressing the post-match presentation after the game. Warner tried to do a Cristiano Ronaldo – removing the Coca Cola bottles off the table. Well, he had to put them back but while doing that, he asked, “Can I remove this?”

When he was asked to keep back the bottles in place he replied by saying “If it is good for Cristiano, it’s good enough for me.”.

Cristiano Ronaldo also removed the Coca Cola Bottles in the Euro 2020 earlier this year. The tournament was finally won y Italy with Portugal making an early exit from the tournament. They were the defending champions heading into the tournament.

Meanwhile, a lot was talked about David Warner’s form heading into the T20 World Cup and particularly ahead of this game against Sri Lanka. He scored crucial runs for him team and in the process made a statement.

He said in the presser that he does not play to shut down the critics and he has never played with such mentality.

Friday is a double-header day in the T20 World Cup with Windies taking on Bangladesh in the first game and Pakistan taking on Afghanistan.
