Australian promising all-rounder Cameron Green moved to the top 20 test batter rankings announced by the ICC. Green showed his class during the first test match against New Zealand at Wellington. He produced a magical knock with an unbeaten 174 that helped Australia post 383. Australia looked in some trouble after Smith and Khawaja added 61 runs for the opening wicket.

Green showed his class with another valuable knock in the 2nd innings that helped Australia increase the lead. His performances led to being named the player of the match and helped Australia take a 1-0 lead in the 2-match Test series.

His knock helped Australia to increase the percentage points and has a chance to up depending upon the result of India versus England’s fifth test match starting at Dharmshala from 7th March onwards.

Cameron Green moved 22 places up to 23rd. Steve Smith, Travis Head, and Marnus Labuschagne slipped down due to poor performances in the first test at Wellington.

Kane Williamson remains at the number 1 spot despite poor showing in the first test against Australia at Wellington. Joe Root climbs one spot to number 2 with 122 in the first innings of the fourth test against India at Ranchi.

Steve Smith slips down one place down to number 3rd due to substantial performances in the first test against New Zealand. Daryl Mitchell, Babar Azam, Usman Khawaja, and Dimuth Karaunate remain static.

Virat Kohli climbs one spot up to number 8 despite not playing in test series against England. Harry Brook also climbed to number 9th place as he has not featured in the test series against India.

The stylish left-handed Yashavi Jaiswal climbs to number 10th in the rankings with an impressive performance against England in the fourth test against at Ranchi.

In the bowler’s rankings, Jasprit Bumrah occupies the top spot and would look to consolidate as he makes comeback into playing XI for the fifth test match at Dharmshala.

Josh Hazlewood climbs up to number 4th in the bowler’s rankings with an impressive bowling effort in the first test against New Zealand at Wellington. Nathan Lyon showed his class by climbing two spots up to number 6th with a 10-wicket haul in the first test against New Zealand.
