Ravindra Jadeja has overtaken Ben Stokes in the latest Test rankings for all-rounders released by the ICC. Jadeja now sits on the second spot, only behind West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder.
Jadeja has 386 points and is trailing Jason Holder, who’s sitting at the top comfortably with 423 points. Ben Stokes, who is not part of England’s two-match Test series against New Zealand, dropped 8 points and is now in the third spot.
Jadeja hasn’t played Test cricket since picking up an injury during the 3rd Test against Australia earlier this year in Sydney. He missed the 4-Test series against England at home but returned in the IPL for his CSK duties. Ravichandran Ashwin and Shakib-Al-Hasan round out the top 5 all-rounders in the list.
On the batting rankings, India’s opener Rohit Sharma, meanwhile, moved past Kiwi batsman Henry Nicholls to the 7th spot. He is now one spot behind wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and 2 behind captain Virat Kohli.
Tim Southee breaks into the top 3
In the bowling department, 34-year-old Tim Southee has broken into the top 3. The Kiwi pacer claimed a 6-wicket haul in the recently drawn test against England at Lord’s. As a result, he climbed 3 spots on the list, leapfrogging Neil Wagner, Josh Hazlewood, and James Anderson.

Pat Cummins continues to top the charts, with a 68 point lead over the second-placed Ravichandran Ashwin. With the WTC Final and 5-match Test series against England coming up, Ashwin will have a chance to make up some ground in the table.
