ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: All You Need To Know About The Tournament

The International Cricket Council named the groups and schedule for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 to be played in Bangladesh from 3^rd October.

There will be a total of 10 teams in the tournament with 5 in each group. Group A consists of current T20 champions Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and qualifier 1.

Group B comprises runners-up of the last edition South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and qualifier 2. The matches would be played in Dhaka and Sylhet.

The two remaining spots for this event will be filled as Sri Lanka faces UAE, and Scotland and Ireland will face each other in the semi-finals of the qualifying event played in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout stage on 17^th and 18^th October. After this, the finals would be played on 20^th October at Dhaka.
