Former New Zealand All-rounder Scott Styris has hailed RCB skipper Virat Kohli as an all-time great. Which is why he doesn’t feel like the Indian batting maestro will struggle in the Indian Premier League this season. The Indian captain is all set to lead the Bangalore franchise for the 7th consecutive season and will also look to end RCB’s title drought this season.
Virat Kohli along with Ab De Villiers will be looking to put up a great show the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise this year. Both players have never tasted the success of winning the esteemed IPL title so both would be eager to put up a great show.
If Kohli Struggles Then Everyone Would Struggle: Scott Styris
Scott Styris is of the opinion that since Virat Kohli himself is an IPL legend, he doesn’t think he’s going to struggle by any bit here. He also mentioned that if someone like Virat struggles this season then even others would end up struggling.
“Well, I don’t think he (Kohli) will struggle. The reason for that is he is an all-time great player and he’s the best batsman in the IPL over the years. So, if he’s going to struggle then everybody is going to struggle,” Styris said while speaking on Star Sports show Game Plan.

Styris further spoke about how Virat Kohli looks ready to go and is more likely to start off the tournament on a high as an early win would get their confidence high up.
“I have no doubt that he is ready to go, like everybody. He will look to get off to a fast start in the tournament just to ease their own nerves. The confidence gets up and then they can go about playing. But I don’t think it’s going be a problem. He is just far too good for that,” he added.
