
The Indian women’s cricket team is wearing pink jerseys in the third and final ODI of the three-match series against Australia as part of an initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer. The match is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday, September 20. Earlier, the team’s official X handle (@BCCIWomen) announced the move through a post.

The series now heads towards an exciting decider. In the opening match on Sunday, September 14, at New Chandigarh, the Australian side registered a dominant eight-wicket victory by chasing 282 in just 44.1 overs.
However, the Indian team responded strongly in the second ODI at the same venue on Wednesday, September 17, posting 292 runs and clinching a convincing 102-run win to level the series 1-1, setting up a thrilling finale in New Delhi.
Australia Make Two Adjustments For Final ODI; India Retain Winning Combination
Australia captain Alyssa Healy won the toss and opted to bat first, introducing two changes to the lineup with Grace Harris and Kim Garth coming in for Annabel Sutherland and Darcie Brown. On the other hand, Harmanpreet Kaur’s team stuck with the same XI from their previous victory, with the skipper stating at the toss:
“We talk about playing good cricket, doesn’t matter what we do first or second. Playing our best cricket, that is something that always keeps us in the game. Want to go in with the same positive mindset today. Same XI for us,” [via Cricbuzz].
