IND vs ENG: [WATCH] Rohit Sharma Reacts As Kuldeep Yadav Urges For A Review
Kuldeep Yadav asks for review

The fourth day of the second match between India and England ended with England needing 332 runs while India required 9 wickets played at Vizag on 4th February 2024.

Jasprit Bumrah went past the edge of Zak Crawley as Kuldeep Yadav begged Rohit Sharma for a review. On replay, Rohit laughed at Kuldeep and clapped funnily. Crawley and Duckett looked in good shape putting pressure before Ashwin struck during his first over getting rid of Duckett with a sharp catch by KS Bharat. Crawley and Duckett added 50 runs for the opening wicket. Rehan Ahmed was asked to do nightwatchmen duty. He looked in attacking touch as England ended the 3rd day on 67 for 1. England still requires 332 runs to win while India needs 9 wickets to level the series.

The Indian team got off to the worst possible start as Rohit Sharma and Jaiswal fell against James Anderson. Shubman Gill survived a few anxious moments before he and Shreyas Iyer showed putting pressure on the inexperienced England bowling. A stunning catch by Ben Stokes ended the innings for Shreyas Iyer. Shreyas Iyer and Gill added 81 runs for the 3rd wicket. India lost another wicket of Rajat Patidar with a sharp catch by Ben Foakes. India went into lunch break at 130 for 4.

After the lunch break, Axar and Gill showed intent on keeping the scoreboard ticking. Gill looked assured taking singles and hitting boundaries off bad deliveries. Gill completed his 3rd century in Test format. Gill and Axar Patel fell in quick succession. The Indian team ended the 2nd session with scoreboard reading 227 for 6.

R Ashwin added some valuable runs but KS Bharat and Kuldeep Yadav struggled to get going. Jasprit Bumrah looked confident with solid defense. It was a tame end as India were bowled out for 255 with a lead of 398.

It promises to be an exciting affair as India would be eager to level the series with an impressive bowling performance on the fourth day with the pitch having uneven bounce.
