The T20 World Champions title holders have established another record yet again. The Indian cricket team led by Shubman Gill defeated Zimbabwe, led by Sikandar Raza, by 23 runs in the third T20I match of the five T20I match series being played at Harare Sports Club in Harare on Wednesday, July 10.
The victory didn’t just give them a 2-1 lead over ZIM, but they were also the first squad in this format to achieve this feat. India played their 150th T20I against Zimbabwe during that recently concluded third T20I match. They are, in fact, the inaugural cricket side ever to accomplish it within the realms of cricket.
They are a deserving side for this massive feat, as they are one of the few teams to lay our hands on the coveted T20 World Cup title twice and are the current T20 World champions.
Pakistan comes second in the list below India with 142 victories; then comes the team of New Zealand, which is a lot behind with only 111 victories.

The Indian captain alone banged seven fours and three sixes, besides contributing 66 runs in just 49 balls. Gaikwad secured the second-highest position on the scorers’ list, where he managed 49 runs off of 28 balls.
A much-needed aggressive batting from Zimbabwe’s Dion Myers (65*) endeared him to try to bring his team closer to the set target but his efforts still fell short by 23 runs. For India, Washington Sundar, two overs, 10 runs, and with the ball, three wickets; Washington Sundar was awarded Player of the Match.
