Former Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is all set to get married to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj. The families of the couple have had a meaningful talk and have mutually agreed on the marriage between the two families, as Nakul’s mother Priya’s father Tufani Saroj told PTI. However, Tufani, who has been to parliament three sessions as an MP and is now an SP MLA, added some facts on record that there has not been any ring ceremony or any pre-wedding show.
Both the individuals used to be friends and by word of mouth, the two families have agreed to the union of marriage. Priya, 26 yrs., is another young MP from India who got elected from the seat in Uttar Pradesh.
Rinku Singh, on the other hand, is one of the up-and-coming young Indian batsmen who has set a very high standard. The actual dates have not been set for the wedding, although there are plans for it to happen after the session of the Parliament.
“Rinku and Priya have known each other for more than a year now. They both liked each other but needed the consent of their families for their relationship. Both the families have agreed to this marriage,” Tufani told PTI.

Priya Saroj, a woman leader of Karkhiyaon village of Varanasi district, has been working with the Samajwadi Party (SP) for the last few years. Priya contested for the seat to Lok Sabha from the Machhlishahr constituency in the Jaunpur district in the year 2024 and emerged the winner.
A former Supreme Court lawyer, she came to the spotlight when she was canvassing for her father during the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Besides, she possesses an arts degree from Delhi University and a law degree from Amity University, Noida.
Saroj’s father added that the dates for the engagement and wedding will be decided after the parliament session and the engagement will take place in Lucknow.
