The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Cricket South Africa have collectively come onto a decision to reschedule the One Day Internationals to another date. The series was called off on Friday due to the widespread pandemic caused by Corona Virus.

The first match of the series which was planned to be played in Dharmshala was cancelled due to continuous rain in the city. The other two games were planned to be played in Lucknow and Kolkata on the 12th and 15th of March. BCCI had also announced after the Dharmshala game that the games in Lucknow and Kolkata would be played in close doors.

“The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) along with Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Friday announced to reschedule the ongoing ODI series in view of the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) outbreak,” the BCCI said in a media release issued on Friday.
