The outbreak of coronavirus pandemic has halted the daily lives of human beings. There has been a complete lockdown in most parts of the world in a bid to curb the spread of the deadly virus. The Government of India has also announced a lockdown for 21 days until April 14.
So far, more than 5000 coronavirus cases have been reported in the country so far. Around 450 people have recovered from the disease while the death toll is over 180. There are high chances of the lockdown period being extended. On Thursday, Odisha became the first state to extend the lockdown till April 30.

Amid the lockdown, the news of people violating the lockdown rules is making headlines on a daily basis. One such incident happened when India cricketer Rishi Dhawan was fined for breaking the lockdown rules.
As per a report in TOI, Dhawan was driving his private car when he stopped by the police. Although the cricketer came out during the relaxation period but he didn’t have the vehicle pass. As per reports, Rishi Dhawan was going to the bank. He was fined Rs 500, which he paid on the spot.

The out-of-favour India all-rounder played three ODIs and one T20I in 2016. Rishi Dhawan continues to play domestic cricket for Himachal Pradesh and has also represented Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
The all-rounder has amassed 3702 runs and 308 wickets in 79 first-class matches. He has also scalped 125 wickets in 96 List A games.
