Star tennis player Sania Mirza has described Virat Kohli in 3 words and also named her favorite Sri Lankan cricketer is a Q&A session that she recently conducted on Twitter with the hashtag #Sananswers. Twitterati came up with a variety of questions like ‘Favourite cuisine?’, ‘Favourite TV Show’, ‘Favourite Singer’.
But when she was asked by a Twitter user to describe Virat Kohli, she summed it up by saying, “What a Champ!” Mirza also revealed her favorite Sri Lankan cricketer and it was none other than Kumar Sangakkara.
At the Indian Sports Honours, Sania Mirza had also lauded Kohli saying, “Virat is doing an amazing job. We all know, the amazing batsman he is and the amazing captain we have. But it`s really nice, as an athlete what he is trying to bring in sports and trying to give exposure to every other sport in our country.”
Sania received sensational online attention when the news of her wedding with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik broke out in April 2010. It made her the most searched Indian woman tennis player in 2010. She was engaged to childhood friend Sohrab Mirza, a millionaire businessman in 2009. However, the wedding was called off shortly after.
