Indonesia Women are 2-0 up in the series.

It was the same script as the first T20I as Indonesia Women thrashed Singapore Women by 121 runs at the Udayana Cricket Ground in Bali on Saturday, November 5. They are currently 2-0 up in the ongoing six-match T20 series.

Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini continued her superb form with the bat as Indonesia Women posted a mammoth total of 170/2 after batting first. The openers added 43 runs for the first wicket in 5.5 overs before Singapore Women drew the first blood.

Sakarini and Maria Corazon added 95 runs for the second wicket to set up the platform. Sakarini, who scored an unbeaten 95 in the first game, backed it up with another 53-ball 62 runs knock.

Corazon remained unbeaten on 53 off 42 balls, laced with six boundaries. Andriani Andriani also chipped in with a crucial hand with an unbeaten 9-ball 20 runs knock. Haresh Dhavina and Vinu Kumar only managed to pick up wickets.

In response, Singapore Women’s batting failure continued as they were bundled out for 49 runs in 17.3 overs. Only Vinu Kumar managed to touch the double-digit mark, scoring 20 runs at a strike rate of 100. The other batters failed to resist the Indonesia Women bowlers and succumbed to pressure.

Laili Salsabila and skipper Ni Wayan Sariani were the pick of the bowlers, returning two wickets apiece. Ni Kadek Fitria Rada Rani and Sang Ayu picked up one wicket each, while four batters got run out.

With 2-0 up in the series, Indonesia Women will look to take an unassaible lead when they square off against Singapore Women on Sunday, November 6.
