The most anticipated finals of Indian Premier League season 11 will take place between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad to be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai today night. Australian legend spinner Shane Warne wishes good luck for both teams ahead of the finals.

Both teams finished top 2 of the league stages. In the first qualifier, Faf du Plessis heroics helped Chennai Super Kings to seal the match from Sunrisers Hyderabad and progress into the finals. As far as Sunrisers Hyderabad are concerned, Rashid Khan all-around performance in the qualifier at Eden Garden’s, Kolkata helped SRH beat KKR by 13 runs to qualify for finals.

Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad have met 3 times in this year’s IPL with MS Dhoni-led side winning all the matches. It promises to be a cracking final with both teams looking to give their 100% to win the prestigious title.

Shane Warne picked Chennai Super Kings to win the title. They will play their 7th IPL finals today and hope to create magic. It has been a close fought IPL in 2018. All the franchises had some players who showed their class with the bat or ball despite their team getting knocked out of the playoff stages.

Shane Warne picked Jos Buttler who had a dream run for Rajasthan Royals after opening the innings. He made 548 runs from 13 matches and helped his side almost reach the playoff stages. KL Rahul had a dream run with 659 runs from 14 matches who played match-winning knocks but could not help side qualify for the playoff stage.

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli scored 530 runs from 14 matches with 4 half centuries but could not take his side to the playoff stage. Young teen sensation R Pant also played with aggressive intent and played one of best knocks of IPL 2018 making 128*.

CSK captain MS Dhoni also contributed to the team’s success with change style of batting. He included all-rounders like Hardik Pandya from Mumbai Indians, Andre Russell from Kolkata Knight Riders.

He picked the Afghan sensation Rashid Khan who has played a key role in helping SRH reach the finals.  Kings XI Punjab pacer Andrew Tye is leading wicket taker with 24 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav also bowled well for KKR.

Jasprit Bumrah also bowled well for Mumbai Indians but could not take his side to the playoff stage. Umesh Yadav should have been included because of his abilities for taking early wickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore side.

Also SRH captain Kane Williamson should have been included. MS Dhoni would be my captain in all stars XI for this year’s IPL.

The all-star team from IPL 2018: Butler, Rahul, Virat, Pant, Dhoni, Pandya, Russell R.Khan, Tye Kuldeep, Bumrah
