Mumbai Indians won the match against Kolkata Knight Riders by 102 runs and this made them clinch a spot in the top four of the standings. Ishan Kishan played a scintillating innings as he hit 62 off just 21 deliveries.
In the post-match presentation, Ishan mentioned how MS Dhoni helped him improve the game and hitting the bowlers for maximums. It is to be noted that Dhoni, was seen speaking with Ishan Kishan after the Chennai vs Mumbai game at MCA stadium, Pune.
Not only Ishan, several pics of Dhoni grooming and giving tips to the youngsters after the game went viral last week. Prithvi Shaw, Mavi and Jos Buttler were few of the players who were on the receiving side.

Speaking on the same, Ishan Kishan mentioned ” I think he helps me a lot. I get a lot of tips from him whenever I am meeting him. As you know he is a legend player, he tells me to take time and just read the situation on how you should build the innings. So that”s the part when I feel confident when they talk to me. “
This IPL saw the arrival of vintage Dhoni who smashed the bowlers to all corners of the stadium. He scored over 360 runs at his all-time best strike rate at IPL(169). His was at his brutal best when he smashed 70 off 34 deliveries against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Ishan also put forward how Rohit Sharma, his skipper helped him to play fearless cricket. He said” Even Rohit bhaiyya said to me, now you have to bat, just back yourselves. Be yourselves. Whatever you have done at your earlier stages, just back yourselves and do the same thing. “

Though Ishan played for Gujarat Lions last year he hadn”t got enough chances to play in the middle order. Now, he along with Suryakumar Yadav is making things easy for Mumbai Indians.
Ishan now scored over 238 runs in this edition of a cash-rich league and is expected to continue his fine form in finalizing a playoff spot for his team.
