Chennai Super Kings thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad to clinch their third title in the history of IPL. After serving a ban for a period of two years, this title is really an “omr to remember” for the franchise and their huge fan base.
Watson smashed his second century of the season and finished the match with two overs to spare. Meanwhile, Thala MS Dhoni has a message for fans who extended their support throughout the season. Chennai now won 3 out of their seven final appearances (2010,2011,2018).
In his Instagram account, MS Dhoni posted a picture alongside Sakshi and Ziva with the trophy. He thanked Mumbai crowd for turning it yellow and mentioned Shane Watson”s innings as a “Shocker”. Ziva Dhoni was seen giving a weird pose in the picture and Dhoni said that she badly wanted to go to the outfield to run.
It is to be noted that Chennai played their both the playoff matches against Sun risers at the same venue (Wankhede stadium). The team members went mad as soon as Rayudu hit the winning runs as they started celebrating on the field.

In the post-match presentation, “Thala” said that the team be heading to Chennai to meet the franchise and the fans who travelled all the way from Chennai to witness the matches at Pune.
