KKR captain Dinesh Karthik said: It feels to get two wins in succession. Things are falling into direction slowly for us. The way Robin Uthappa batted was brilliant which set us the tone. Nitish Rana also batted and it was good to see him bat right through the innings. I want the players to be consistent enough in such a long tournament.

Man of the match Nitish Rana said: Both games were very important to us. I bowl regularly in nets and also in domestic cricket. IPL is such a big platform as the bowlers don’t bowl loose balls and need to convert the loose balls into boundaries.

This win helps Kolkata Knight Riders to go top of points table with 3 wins out of 5 matches.

Kings XI Punjab will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in tomorrow’s match at IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.
