Harshal Patel received a surprise promotion up the order and scored a worthy 24 off 17 before involving in an unwanted run with pant.

Pant had no mercy on SRH bowing and smashed 128 off just 63 deliveries. He hit 15 boundaries and seven huge sixes. Even Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Rashid had no clue of bowling a peculiar type of delivery to him.

Pant now became the first Indian player to score a century in this edition of IPL and he is the second youngest player to score an IPL century next to Manish Pandey.
