A thrilling end to the twelfth edition of Indian Premier League as Mumbai Indians won in the last delivery against Chennai Super Kings by one run. Mumbai thus became the first side to register four IPL trophies and their fans couldn’t just stop sharing the excitement on social media platforms.
All eyes on captain Rohit Sharma who has now a success rate of 100% in the IPL finals. Rohit led his team on four instances in the finals and all of them ending up in a victory. Rohit is also now the first player to be a part of a winning side for five times ( including his 2009 season with Deccan Chargers). An excited Rohit was interviewed by his wife Ritika after the match.

Rohit mentioned that this IPL was special as his daughter Samaira’s first presence in the cash-rich league and would dedicate it to her. He also stressed that not just to his baby but also to Ritika who is his support system.
The official social media handles of the franchise are going berserk and fans are still in celebration mode as no other team has won the trophy on four instances. The Indian cricket season hasn’t ended as the focus now shifts to the World Cup.
