Mumbai Indians continued their merry run in IPL 2020 as they beat KKR by eight wickets in Abu Dhabi on Friday. In the process, they firmed their position at the top of the points table. It was Hardik Pandya’s cameo that helped Mumbai to finish the game by the 18th over and complete another comprehensive win for the four-time IPL champions. Pandya then spoke to Danny Morrison after the game, where he revealed something very interesting.

Pandya said that he misses changing diapers when Morrison asked him if he misses partying.

“I’ve become a father now so, I think I should not miss that. I should be missing changing the diapers.”.

He further spoke on the role of him finishing games for the side since the last couple of years. Hardik along with Pandya have been giving finishing touches to the games that Mumbai have been chasing in the last couple of years.

Hardik Pandya-Acing The Finisher’s Role For Mumbai Indians

“I have been using that bat for three years now, so it has to be good. Just making sure that I keep working on my technique and maintaining the shape is more important. I go in deep in my batting, I really like to know about the factors which I am working on and eventually when it turns out pretty well, I really enjoy it” Pandya said.

Mumbai Indians have a history of starting off late in the IPL, however, this season they have been delivering their A-game consistently. All of their players have stepped upto the plate at a given time and they have looked the best side alongside Delhi Capitals in this IPL so far.

Alongside Delhi, they are on 12 points from 8 games reaching almost at the doorstep of playoffs qualification. Meanwhile, Hardik is without his wife and three-month-old baby in the UAE committed to playing for the Mumbai Indians in this IPL.
