3. Faf Du Plessis
The former South African captain has been in sublime form this season. After scoring a match-winning 58 against Mumbai Indians in the opening game, Du Plessis continued from where he left in the game against Rajasthan Royals. Though his side ended up on the losing side, he would cherish the way he’s been timing the ball way better than anyone in the CSK setup.
In the match against Rajasthan Royals, he was again the highest run-scorer for his side as he scored 72 off 37 deliveries. In the absence of CSK’s stalwart Suresh Raina, Du Plessis assumed the number three batting position and has been doing really putting up really big scores.
