Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Andre Russel hasn’t quite found his hitting form with the bat for his side in this year’s IPL so far. In the five matches so far, he has had scores of 11, 2, 13 and 12. His side has won three out of the five matches played so far and is placed at number four in the points table.

Russell is without his wife Jassym Lora in the UAE in this IPL. Lora is an avid cricket follower and supports her husband for any team he plays for. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, Lora has not accompanied her husband this time round in the IPL.

However, she is never far away from supporting her husband and wishing the best for him. Recently, after a couple of failures of the big-hitting Jamaican in the UAE, a troll targeted Lora on Instagram.

In one of the recent pictures she posted on her handle, a troll wrote “Jassym aunty please go to Dubai Russell is not in good form” targeting to disrespect Andre Russell and his wife.

However, Jassym Lora kept a cool head and shut down the troll in style. Replying on the comment she wrote  “He’s in the best form..” to shut down the troll.

While Andre Russell has not found his touch with the bat so far, he has done a commendable job with the ball so far. He has picked up five wickets from five games so far in the competition. Kolkata Knight Riders skipper has used him as his death over specialist in the games so far.

Against Delhi Capitals, he bowled the last over of their batting innings going for just seven. He backed it up with another good performance against Chennai Super Kings. Andre Russell defended 26 needed in the final over as KKR beat CSK by 10 runs in their previous game.

Kolkata play Kings XI Punjab next on Saturday, who are languishing at the bottom of the table after five consecutive losses in the last five games.
