In the Caribbean Premier League, Seifert represents Trinbago Knight Riders, the sister franchise of Kolkata Knight Riders. His performance persuaded KKR to rope him in last year. But he has not featured in any game as KKR already have core overseas players who are serving them for years. It is improbable that KKR will play an overseas keeper even if Dinesh Karthik needs a replacement. He can be traded to RR or Punjab Kings where he may get chances as a pure batter.
