Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra had put cast out his predictions for Sunday’s doubleheader between the Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) vs Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the Koltaka Knight Riders (KKR) take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) later tonight.
KKR, RCB, and PBKS are still in contention to qualify for the IPL 2021 playoffs. The opening game is set to take place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium between the Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) vs Punjab Kings (PBKS). Both teams are yet to qualify for the playoffs.
Chopra quoted on his Youtube official channel and said, “The team winning the toss should bat first.”
Cricket Expert further added, the batters will find it easier to bat in the powerplay than in the death overs. “12 overs of the powerplay to fetch more runs overs 15-20,” he stated. In most of the games in Sharjah, teams have strained to step on the gas in the death overs.
Chopra also backed the fast bowlers to have a significant amount of success. “Pacers to pick up five wickets,” he stated.
Moreover, Aakash Chopra backed the Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) to come out as champions of the match. “Bangalore to win the match,” he added on his official Youtube channel.
In the Indian leg of the IPL 2021, it was KL-Rahul led Punjab Kings who had the better of the Kolhi led RCB, after Harpreet Brar’s all-round show.
The second game is set to be played at the Dubai Internation Stadium between the struggling Eoin Morgan-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Sunriers Hyderabad.

For the match, Chopra predicted KKR to win. However, he also urged KKR to check the number of bowlers in their lineup.
“I am predicting Kolkata to win. I am predicting them to play better. And I’m also hoping that they check how many bowlers they go in with,” Chopra added.
In the previous game against PKBS, the Knights included Tim Seifert in their eleven and used Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana as their fifth bowling options which weren’t the greatest of moves by the KKR management and it cost them the game.
