Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be mighty happy after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to book a berth in the playoffs. With SRH almost out of contention now, Rajasthan will fancy their chances of making it to the top four.
The Royals are currently on 8 points from 11 games with three consecutive losses and they need some momentum to get things back in the fray. They are at the seventh position in the points table with a negative net run rate of -0.468 which is the second-worst at the moment among the franchises.

Rajasthan Royals will have to win all their remaining games and every game will be against the in-form teams of CSK, KKR, and MI. Although it looks grim for the Sanju Samson-led franchise, they will have to make the impossible happen to give themselves an outside chance of qualifying.
Moreover, mere victories won’t do any good. Rajasthan Royals will have to beat their opponents with a good net run-rate. They can afford to play for a win against CSK, and try to go hard against KKR and MI to move above them in the points table. Despite winning all their games, Rajasthan Royals will have look at the results of other matches to confirm a place in the top four.
Rajasthan Royals will be looking to bounce back starting on Saturday when they play table toppers Chennai Super Kings at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
