KL Rahul had a witty response for Yuzvendra Chahal after he made fun of the brand new jersey of Punjab Kings (PBKS) for IPL 2021. The Punjab Kings jersey has been reminding everyone of the Royal Challengers Bangalore jerseys in the past. The franchise in this season changed the name and even the jersey and fans on social media think they have actually copied RCB’s jersey design.

KL Rahul Responds After Yuzvendra Chahal Makes Fun Of Punjab Kings New Jersey

When Punjab Kings stepped on the field to play their opening match of IPL 2021 against Rajasthan Royals, RCB spinner Yuzvendra Chahal made sure he took a playful dig at the jersey of the franchise. While KL Rahul and Chris Gayle had a chat on the field, Chahal made a video and posted it on his official Twitter account. The red and gold of Punjab Kings looked identical to RCB’s jersey and Chahal welcomed back Rahul and Gayle to RCB again.

As everyone knows both Rahul and Gayle have played for RCB before and were part of the side when they reached the finals in 2016. Now both Gayle and Rahul are representing Punjab Kings but their jersey would surely me reminding them of their RCB days. The same red and gold jersey and trousers as well as golden pads and gloves. Nevertheless, Rahul being a sport responded to Chahal in his own witty manner and asked his side to wear their away jersey when they face them in IPL 2021 on April 30.
