The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is in full swing and in a week, the extravagant T20 league has given the fans a plethora of memories. IPL offers fame and glitz to a lot of talented cricketers. This franchise-based league has always been associated with glamour.

From Bollywood celebrities to politicians and other athletes, a lot of people can be seen at the stadiums. Apart from them the Wives and Girlfriends (WAGs) of the cricketers also make lots of noise. Many wags of cricketers are seen joining their husbands in the stadium and supporting from the best place. Similarly, in IPL 2021, many WAGs are travelling with their husbands and we will take a look at the WAGs of the skippers of all eight franchises in the tournament.

Anushka Sharma- Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

One of the most celebrated couples in India is the Indian and Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma. The couple never faded away from the limelight since they started dating. Sharma made her acting debut in 2008, while Kohli also made his arrival in international cricket in 2008. They met during an ad shoot.

Anushka gave birth to their daughter in January this year. Anushka likes to be present in the stands and support her husband. But due to the coronavirus obstacles, she has not joined the bio bubble yet as she has resumed work in Mumbai.

Ritika Sajdeh- Rohit Sharma (Mumbai Indians)

Rohit Sharma fell in love with his manager turned into his best friend Ritika Sajdeh. The couple announced their relationship in 2015 after Rohit’s birthday. They got hitched in December 2015. The duo shares their beautiful pictures on Instagram. They have a 2-year-old daughter named Samairah.

Ritika actively supports her husband from the stands. She keeps her fingers crossed when her husband is at the crease. She is with Mumbai Indians right now and has been spotted in the stands during their matches.

Sakshi Singh Rawat- Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings)

The former first lady of Indian cricket, Sakshi Rawat got married to the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni in 2010. Since then, Sakshi likes to cheer for her husband from the stands. Sakshi was a hotel management student when she met CSK’s skipper.

Sakshi became a regular name after her marriage. Unlike her husband, who keeps affairs private, Sakshi is very active on Instagram and shares her moments with CSK, and shows her love for the team. Sakshi and Mahi became parents in 2015 and named their daughter Ziva. She was not seen in the bubble last year. Also, this year in IPL 2021 she has not joined the bubble yet.

Isha Negi- Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals)

Isha Negi, a graduate from Amity University, Noida is supposedly dating Delhi Capitals’ skipper Rishabh Pant. The duo has posted a lot of pictures with each other on their Instagram handles. Pant is currently one of the best keeper-batsman and leading Delhi Capitals in the absence of their regular captain Shreyas Iyer.

Though Isha is not spotted in the stands at all and has not joined DC this year yet. She might join the franchise later, but nothing is confirmed yet. But she supports Pant through her Instagram stories.

Athiya Shetty- KL Rahul (Punjab Kings)

Punjab Kings’ captain KL Rahul has not made anything official about his relationship with actress Athiya Shetty. Athiya, daughter of actor Sunil Shetty has also zipped her lips. But according to reports, the duo has been dating for a couple of years now; however, they have been spotted by the paparazzi a couple of times.

Athiya has not made her debut in the stands publicly like other WAGs of Punjab Kings. But it can be anticipated that she is surely supporting her beau Rahul and his team PBKS in IPL 2021, who are eyeing their maiden title after a positive start.

Tara Ridgeway- Eoin Morgan (Kolkata Knight Riders)

England’s World Cup-winning captain and Kolkata Knight Riders’ skipper Eoin Morgan got married to Tara Ridgeway in 2018. Tara, an Aussie, is a marketing coordinator working at Burberry, UK. The couple got blessed with a baby boy in March 2020. After being in a long-distance relationship for a long time, Tara, 26, moved to the United Kingdom after their marriage.

Like any other WAGs, Tara does not like the media focus at all and maintains her privacy. Last year after the conclusion of the IPL, the couple was spotted in the UAE. This year, Tara is not accompanying her husband yet in IPL 2021.

Candice Warner- David Warner (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Former professional ironwoman and surf lifesaver Candice Falzon got married to Australian opener and Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner in 2015. David shares a lot of videos and pictures on the social media platform Instagram with his family. The couple has three daughters.

Candice and David became famous in India after their hilarious TikTok videos where they danced to Indian songs. Sometimes their children also accompany them in the videos. Candice is not much seen in the stands during IPL but supports the franchise through her Instagram stories.

Charulatha- Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals)

Samson and Charulatha started dating from their college days. After dating for years, the couple got married in 2018. Like Sanju, Charulatha too keeps herself away from the spotlight. As Charulatha maintains privacy, nothing much is known about her. She is not accompanying her husband and has not joined the bubble yet.

Meanwhile, Sanju Samson is currently leading Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021 and has won one match after a losing start to the campaign against Punjab Kings.
