Meanwhile, with all the IPL teams now residing in their own bubble during the season, the franchises post various bonding sessions videos of the team for their fans on social media. The motto of MI has always been ‘One Family’ as everyone shares a great bond with each other which ultimately results in positive performances on the field. Recently Rohit had admitted that bonding and interaction between the players during non-match days are extremely important during IPL as it helps in creating togetherness.

“Lot of players getting involved in whatever it is. Whether it is going outside and playing a game, whether it is doing the fitness things, whether it is attending meetings. We try and do that with the entire group of players. There’s a lot of interaction about the game that is being played or the game that is about to come. And just to keep that bonding going between players is so important,” said Sharma in a chat with the social media team of the Mumbai Indians.

“Because every year, you see new faces coming into the squad. And you want everyone to get adjusted to the MI culture as quickly as possible. So, it’s important to have that togetherness,” concluded Sharma.
