The top 3 teams have been on a winning run this IPL, while the bottom 3 are really suffering. But we know that the IPL never fails to surprise us. The game we have next is a bottom-of-the-table clash. Rajasthan Royals take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. This game is a day game and is the first of the two matches to be played tomorrow.
Rajasthan Royals currently sit at the 7th position in the points table. They are just not finding the perfect winning combination. Rajasthan lost most of their foreign players and are currently suffering due to that. Chris Morris has looked like their best foreign player till now. He has delivered with the ball but is not being able to do so with the bat. Sanju Samson has taken the role of the anchor in the side. Jos Buttler is starting off brilliantly but has to try and score big.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has batted poorly this year. Their middle-order is just not firing and no amount of chopping and changing is helping them. David Warner also struggled to middle the ball in the last game. Due to his poor form, David Warner will not be continuing as captain. In a statement released by Sunrisers Hyderabad, they said that they will be looking to tweak the overseas combination in order to get back to winning ways. David Warner might be replaced by Jason Roy in the lineup. Kane Williamson has been their best batsman till now. Now with the added responsibility of captaincy, we might see him do better.
Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling not an issue
Rajasthan Royals bowling is one of the things that has been going well for them. Chris Morris has proved his price tag when it comes to bowling. He has been the only one who has kept things tight. He picks up wickets at regular intervals and also concedes fewer runs. Chetan Sakariya has been one such bowler for them who has delivered with the new as well as the old ball. His slower ones have troubled the batsmen in the middle overs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has had two huge setbacks when it comes to their bowling department. They lost both their best fast bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan to injuries. Still, they have not lost hope and are doing decently. Rashid Khan has been their stand-out bowler. Sandeep Sharma has also taken up the new ball responsibility really well. Khaleel Ahmed and Siddharth Kaul have not looked in their best form but we know what they are capable of.
