Chris Morris is an integral part of Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing IPL 2021. The all-rounder has shown his class in the tournament with both bat and ball. He smashed a quickfire cameo against Delhi Capitals and helped his side register their first win of the season. Then in the last match, he didn’t disappoint his skipper Sanju Samson and picked a 4 wicket haul against KKR.

Morris will continue to play a key role for RR and he needs to be at this best if they want to progress to the playoffs. Nevertheless recently Rajasthan Royals posted a fun chat between Morris and RR skipper Sanju Samson. Morris was put on the spot by his IPL captain and asked him some interesting question.

When Morris was asked his favourite players playing in the ongoing IPL 2021 he picked two players. Unsurprisingly one of the players was Samson himself as Morris stated that he is impressed with his growth as a player in the IPL. The second player he picked was the hard-hitting all-rounder of Mumbai Indians, Hardik Pandya whom he tagged as ‘Prime time’.

“Sanju is my favourite No. 1 player, obviously because I’ve watched him for a long time now and watched him develop into the man and the player he is today, but I really enjoy Hardik (Pandya) play. I think he’s a showstopper — he is prime time,” said Chris Morris.

Meanwhile, Samson also praised Morris for his unique advice that he gave him during the 2016 IPL season. He thinks that’s the best advice he has got in the IPL which was to smack every ball he faces.

“The best piece of advice I ever got was from you (Morris). And it was to smack every ball I faced. That’s what I’ve been doing since 2016 when I met you. And, yes, it feels good”, Samson said in a video interview with Chris Morris.
