The Rajasthan Royals also got off to a winning start in the UAE leg of IPL 2021. They defeated the Punjab Kings by 2 runs in a thrilling encounter. Karthik Tyagi was awarded the Player of the Match as he defended four overs of the last over. The Sanju Samson-led team is fifth on the points table with four wins in eight matches and a Net Run Rate of -0.154.
