IPL 2021 Playoffs – Full Schedule, Venue, Match Timings And Everything You Need To Know

With the league stage of IPL 2021 done and dusted, the focus shifts to the playoffs which kickstart from October 10 (Sunday). Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Kolkata Knight Riders were the four teams to make it to the playoffs.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians, who were well in the race for a top-four finish, crashed out of IPL 2021 despite winning their last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rohit Sharma & Co finished fifth after Kolkata owing to a poor run rate.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings were the first to qualify for the playoffs followed by Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers. The Knight Riders secured their berth after the final group match.

Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings will face off against each other in Qualifier 1 on October 10 in Dubai. DC has beaten CSK in both the matches this season so they will start off on the right paddle.

Royal Challengers Bangalore on the other hand will battle it out with KKR in the IPL 2021 Eliminator on October 11 in Sharjah. Their head-to-head stands tied at 1-1, with both the sides winning comfortably in those victories.

The winner of the Qualifier 1 between DC and CSK will move ahead into the final of the IPL 2021 season. As for the loser, they will get another chance in Qualifier 2, where they will face the victors of the Eliminator in Sharjah. The winners of the Qualifier 2 will then move into the finals. The finals will then be played in Dubai on October 15.
