The first match of Saturday’s doubleheader will see Delhi Capitals (DC) lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Sharjah. DC are at the top of the table while Rajasthan hang in the fifth spot with eight points from as many games.
Rajasthan will be oozing with confidence after pulling off a thrilling last-over win against Punjab Kings. Kartik Tyagi bowled exceedingly well in the 20th over and defended four runs. RR will be desperate to upset DC and keep themselves floating in the competition for a top-four place. However, RR will have to bat out of their skin to post a big total against a star-studded DC line-up.

On the other hand, DC will look to keep their winning run going against RR. They have performed like a well-oiled machine with both batters and bowlers contributing to the team’s cause. The onus once again will be on Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje to break RR’s batting in the powerplay overs.
