Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni have always shared tremendous brotherhood, love and respect for each other and another evident example of the same was seen during toss time in Sharjah. Both the teams are facing off each other in match 35 of IPL 2021. After a good start,, RCB faltered in the back 10 and ended up scoring 156/6 in their 20 overs after being sent to bat by the CSK skipper.
Devdutt Padikkal (70) and Virat Kohli (53) shared a 111-run stand. Since their dismissal, the rest of the batsmen added 50-odd runs as batting became difficult in the second half.
Meanwhile, Twitter was ringing with memes on the brotherhood and bromance of Kohli and Dhoni. What makes their relationship even more special is the fact that both Dhoni and Kohli will be working together in the upcoming T20 World Cup. The BCCI roped in MS Dhoni as the mentor of the Indian team for the marquee tournament.

“It started off pretty nice, when the ball was new we felt it was coming on well. As soon as the ball got old and as we got out of the powerplay, it became harder and it started gripping a little bit. Even the fuller balls weren’t bouncing much, wasn’t easy to get under. We were just feeding off each other, we knew that the other one was going well and were just trying to time it well. Once we get going, we understand each other pretty well and we know when one person has to go. (Key for the bowlers) Keep it as simple as possible, good lengths aren’t easy to get away, the pitch is a bit two-paced so if we stick to our basics, we should be good” said Devdutt Padikkal in the mid-innings break.
